For Fall of 2926 and Spring 2027, the epitome of menswear luxury is personified in this hand-painted (acrylic), up-scaled cotton percale dress shirt with a traditional convertible collar and cuffs. Stacy Stewart Smith presents Golden Angels, 2026. The subject matter is a tribute to innumerabl blessings.

The Golden Angels shirt reveals a couture twist, delivered through the designer's hand-painting. The current offering is in metallic gold acrylic paint on a black premium cotton percale shirt. The dress shirt is hand-painted throughout, perhaps with a million daubs. You should expect to see some signs of the hand-painted residue beneath the cuffs, around buttons, and on the reverse side, which is part of the inherent beauty of such an item. Due to artisan craftsmanship and hand-painting, each item will be slightly different. The Golden Angels item is mainly sold as custom apparel and wearable art. 

The garment is sourced new from overseas. All hand-painting is original by Stacy Stewart Smith and executed in the USA. The artist signs each garment, and the purchase arrives beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity.

The production time is 30 days from the receipt and clearance of payment and the finalization of all measurements. The standard shirt sizes are listed below; however, if you need a specific size neck or sleeve that is not listed, please complete the measurement form.

Care:

To care for this item, please remove the metal collar stays and then gently wash the shirt in cold water with a delicate detergent. Do not soak for longer than 15 minutes. Do not wring; hang dry only away from direct sunlight. Do not machine wash or machine dry. Do not press the artwork or the hand-painting. If needed, lightly press the shirt from the reverse side, including the collar and cuffs (metal collar stays removed). This action will help to preserve the integrity of the hand-painting and printing. Do not dry clean or use abrasive tools or solvents. Please do not bleach.

Note:

The shirt will have a crisp touch before laundering. Both the image and the dye color will fade in time and with each cleaning. You may wish to keep the garment as art or to frame it; however, the shirt is fully wearable. To retard fading, do not wash or submerge the garment in water. Instead, spot-clean only from the reverse on a clean, flat, unpainted surface with a mixture of distilled water and a gentle cleanser applied to a clean, colorless sponge or brush. Remove the cleaning solution residue with a sponge rinsed with distilled water, repeating as needed. To eliminate most odors (legal-aged adults only), disinfect with a mixture of 90% distilled water and 10% vodka. Use a spray bottle to apply a light coating of this solution to the reverse side, then hang to dry.
