For Fall 2026, Stacy Stewart Smith has used a sumptuous grade of black Nappa lamb leather and crafted it into a take on the traditional flight jacket, with slightly padded shoulders and a flange back. Perfect for transitional weather, the Flange-back Leather Flight Jacket has a low front and high back, making it comfortable whether seated or standing. The jacket is designed to accentuate a slender waistline and show off the body of a man who spends time at the gym. It features front slash pockets, a mandarin leather buttoned collar flowing into an asymmetrical placket covering a zip front opening. Decorative metal and leather hardware adorn the accented high waistline at the sides. It makes a great place to hang the optional lamb-and-leather neck warmer (coming soon to the Accessories tab). The Stacy Couture Flange-back Leather Jacket has a handsome rhombus jacquard lining (may be customized) in black and rose-gray acetate. Two leather-trimmed breast pockets provide space for valuables.

Preorders: You may order the Flange-Back Leather Flight Jacket in a custom size as a preorder. The production time is 30 to 60 days from the receipt and clearance of payment and the finalization of all measurements.
- Select Preorder from the purchase menu and place the item(s) from the Fall 2026 Collections in the cart.
- Locate the Preorder Measurement and Service Fee form in the Fall 2026 Collection, and then add it to your cart.
- Enter FormFree in the discount field, and the form will be free of charge. Only one discount may be used, so if the item is on sale, a $5 service fee will be added to your cart total.
- After payment, you will receive an email with a link to the measurement form. Follow the instructions provided in the form and contact us if you need assistance.
The leather is in stock and available locally, but the lining and hardware are subject to availability and substitutions. You may, upon special request, have the jacket insulated with neoprene and knit cuffs on or beneath the sleeves at an additional cost, to be calculated after the measurements are received. A couture pattern is drafted from your sizes while we wait for any materials. This process is what makes Stacy Menswear Couture special. We will keep you in constant contact with the design studio and alert you at every step via email, including photos and requests.
Only six (6) Flange-Back Leather Flight Jackets are available for Fall 2026 preorders. Due to the unique nature of a custom-made garment, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
