Stacy Stewart Smith offers a soft, crinkled lamb leather bag inspired by the concept of Euclidean space is a one of a kind offering from Stacy Couture. The bag's internal core is structured, yet the outer shape and design make it appear soft and formless. It is a rectangle of neoprene within a cocoon of leather. Soft to the touch yet strong enough to hold a laptop or light groceries. The Euclidean Space Bag is lined in poly cotton broadcloth reinforced by a poly microfiber knit from the base inside to the inner-handles. Above this, inside, is a neoprene base lining the bottom and creating six roomy interior pockets. A strong felt base shapes the angular bottom, weighing the bag.
A concept inspired by the idea of shapes or spaces within other spaces is the self-tongue flap, which keeps the bag’s mouth closed. This shape comes from the fallout cutting between the handles and is flanked by two large natural horn buttons fastened with leather twine. An enhanced feature of the bag is the metal and contrasting key ring hook that dangles from beneath the tongue or on the opposite side. The Euclidean Space Bag can be sported off one shoulder, crossbody, and by anyone (male or female).
